Innovation Center Offers Dynamic Customer Experience
Placon, a leader in the thermoformed plastic packaging industry, hired McGinnis Design to design an innovation center at their Fitchburg, WI location.
Their vision? To create an interactive, customer-based experience communicating their product excellence and ingenuity to potential clients.
The end result? The Placon Design Center of Excellence.

Placon can guide visitors through an inclusive and educational product and services experience, where they can interact with touch-screen kiosks, product displays, brainstorming centers, demonstrations, and collaborative conferencing.
Dramatic lighting and reflective finishes – like corrugated metal walls, glossy white display stations, and semi-translucent resin panels – naturally draw visitors through the innovation center and invite them to explore and learn. In addition, comfortable lounge seating, large monitors, and a huge marker board make learning and idea-building casual and interactive.
Placon Design Center of Excellence is a collaboration between:
McGinnis Design – Commercial Interior Design
KSW Construction – Construction
M&M Office Interiors – Furniture Dealership
